Other cases as the colleges students who would drink black womans breast milk and compare it to a animal . these things in history that occurred are many reasons why minorities are afraid to go to the doctor due to maltreatment from the past. I never really knew anything on our medical history and the practices performed. What really shocked me was learning about the Tuskegee experiment and how they were basically using African Americans as lab rats and these males were not even aware of what was really being done to their bodies. How can it ever be okay for something like this to go on for years and there never be any action against those who were administrating this research.KeyannaJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11463838395369684206noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8806403356611112753.post-65760203263455012952014-10-30T19:16:18.489-07:002014-10-30T19:16:18.489-07:00Yes, it was shocking to me when I first began to r...Yes, it was shocking to me when I first began to research the phenomena. I also found it interesting that some states were more obsessed with sterilizations than others. Dr. D. The thing that really shocked me was the forced birth control and going to the hospital for a simple treatment could lead to someone not being able to have kids. It was also interesting to find out that many criminals and patients in the psych wards were sterilized as well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
